This section of the Festival confirms its instrumental identity of place open to the more different contributions, even if in relation to the general chosen theme. The program so welcomes many proposals of research that face the landscape question in the direction of going beyond identification and expression.
A first action investigate the realtion between CITTA’ E LUCE/CITY AND LIGHT, for example asking itself how artificial light and its planning applied to the city could still disclose the landscape and make it more seductive, and how could still be perceived the difference between natural and artificial conditions in the lighted on city.
Another contribution asks itself about the potentiality of expression of the landscape, represented by the road as a static spatial element that can however be assumed as an instrument of cinematic perception, in a real and imaginary key. From this derives the idea of a PROGETTO VIA EMILIA/VIA EMILIA PROJECT that verifies a semantic configuration on new landscape expression, where the road elements, which figures lives on and configure the front, could be put in a condition to recall memories, histories, significant phenomena in relationship with the road as palimpsest of a characterization at the same time polymorphic but integrated, surely shared and public, work of art of the collective expression.
A third research follows the theme of virtualization of the landscape experience, as reproduced with digital images inside videogames, where to analize the evolution of simulation of the PAESAGGIO E IL SUO DOPPIO - DA PAC-MAN A SECOND LIFE/THE LANDSCAPE AND ITS DOUBLE - FROM PAC-MAN TO SECOND LIFE and where moreover verify the effects of a always more frequented dimension on the formation of the taste that soon will condition the same scene of the real landscape.
